Niall O Shea had this to say about the acquisition “This is excellent news for System Label, our staff and clients, it will help us develop and invest further in our business and facility and will add additional strings to our bow to compete better and stronger. Our quality systems and position in the market have been key factors in MCC’s decision, along with being a specialist supplier in niche markets, in particular our Industrial & Healthcare sectors, aligned with the skills and knowledge of the team and production capability of our facilities”.
MCC employs over 4,300 people worldwide with 45 sites spread across six continents. This acquisition will bring new opportunities to System Label broadening its customer base and product offering. MCC are now looking to strengthen their product portfolio and diversify their presence across other markets and System Label will play a pivotal role in this development.
Niall O Shea will continue to manage the business along with the existing team and we can assure you it will be business as normal. As always our existing customers will continue to receive the same great service and offering whilst having the support of a multinational corporation behind us.
MCC Executive Chairman, Nigel Vinecombe had this to say about the acquisition “We are delighted to welcome the management team and associates of System Label. This business brings additional expertise to the MCC Group. Leaders in their field, they supply multinational customers in Ireland, the UK and Continental Europe. In combination with MCC’s existing Label business in Ireland, there are opportunities to supply a broader product range to a larger customer base and enhance the supply range.”
